a) has nice feet,
b) is comfortable having someone pay attention to her feet, and
c) is accepting and/or understanding of foot fetish.
I've received so much feedback on this matter that I thought it was worth writing about. As someone who has always been interested in the psychology of relationships and sexuality, this is a topic of both personal and professional interest to me. If I can offer information or a perspective that might help even one foot lover out there, then it was worth writing this.
It goes without saying that confident people are relatively more attractive than less confident people, regardless of their physical looks, their interests or thickness of their wallet. I am going to assume that you, the reader, are male and are interested in finding a woman with nice feet, although this topic could easily apply to other genders, sexual orientations and interests.
Everyone has different areas in their life or environments in which they feel more or less confident than in other areas. For example, I exude confidence when I am on a dance floor (dancing solo and completely sober), however, I would feel very insecure if I were sitting in a campaign office among politicians who are discussing the next election.
When I'm on the dance floor, I'm like a fish in water, and feel very much at ease, in my element. I literally shine and give off an energy that people are drawn to.
In the other scenario, you might not even notice that I'm in the room and if you did, I would come across very awkward. If I were interested in meeting a man, I definitely would avoid searching for Mr. Right at political 'parties' and stick to places where I can get my groove on. Makes sense, right?
Personally, I've never been one to hang out at bars or clubs to meet people - I'm just not into drinking or the club scene. I have observedg that these environments or the workplace are typically where people do their hunting. However, if you are like me and don't feel comfortable trying to "pick up" at a club, then don't do it. There are other options. Ask yourself, if you were in a relationship, where would you love to hang out with your woman? Or what type of activities would you want to do (aside from the obvious foot-related activities)? So go out and spend your time searching there. This direction seems kind of obvious but, some people tend to have trouble thinking for themselves and instead find themselves doing what they think we're supposed to do to meet a mate. In other words, don't be afraid to stray from the rest of the flock and do your own thing, find your own way. Trust that you know yourself best and go with your gut, yo!
Okay, so maybe you're really good at your job and you enjoy what you do but you happen to work in an environment where you either have no or few co-workers or if you do have coworkers they're mostly males. Well, there are situations where you can meet people other than the workplace. A good one is Meetup.com. I won't go into any detail about this - you can check it out yourself if you want and I think if you are really determined to meet someone, you need to take some initiative and go out and do some old-fashioned hunting. And if you're not willing to do this but expect someone to fall into your lap, well, I can't help you, honey.
SET YOURSELF UP FOR SUCCESS and put yourself in situations where you can feel relatively confident about yourself, where you can shine your natural light (assuming you want to attract light...if you're more of a bat and want to find your bat-girl, go find your nearest cave).
When you shine, people naturally want to know what your secret is. What are you all about? What makes you tick? And if it's FEET that make you tick (or tickle), they will want to know that about you as well, especially if it's something you are really passionate about. And if they're not interested or turned off by that, then they're obviously not the one for you.
There is definitely something to say about how you bring up your love of feet for the first time. When you mention foot fetish, do you say it as if you are talking about that big hairy mole on your back - with reluctance or hesitation or embarrassment? Or do you talk about your fetish with the same energy as you would talk about your favourite food or favourite sports car or favourite NFL team - with enthusiasm and joy and passion?
Think of yourself as a Salesman and what you're selling is your Self. Say you own a nice home, have a nice car or are really good at playing an instrument.
Would you be able to talk about your foot fetish FEETure with the same energy as you could talk about your other features? Again, this might seem obvious to some readers but it's easy to read about a certain behaviour or tendency and be totally clueless that YOU actually do that yourself.
It's definitely worth doing a self-check to see how you actually come across to people of the opposite sex when you broach the subject of feet. And if you have had a history, or even one bad experience, where someone reacted negatively to your foot fetish, then it makes complete sense that you have some issues about bringing up your fetish with someone you like. The term "self-fulfilling prophecy" comes to mind here. If you believe or think that someone will react negatively to your fetish, then they most likely will. Not because it was inevitable from the start, but because of the energy you gave off during the whole interaction.
There is a quote by Henry Ford: "Whether you think you can or think you can't, either way you are right."
For me, this is more than a quote, it's a philosophical Truth. And if you choose not to believe this as Truth, that's your loss. It's always easier to blame the world around you for your misfortunes but when we can learn to take some responsibility for our lives and what we attract into our life, that's when Magic can happen...
